Section 03.1 — 36°43'N 3°00'E — The project
What we did.
The structure sits on heterogeneous soil, which required revising the foundation design after the geotechnical survey. The raft foundation was split into two sections separated by a watertight joint to absorb differential settlement.
Interior waterproofing was applied with a water-repellent coating and verified through a progressive seven-day water test, with daily level readings and inspection of the wall surfaces.
Delivery took place in line with the contractual programme agreed with the client.
