Site supervision
An engineer on site to verify that what is built is what was designed.
A drawing does not build itself. Site supervision checks that what comes out of the ground matches what was calculated, and checks it while correction is still possible.
The work is available whether the design was done here or elsewhere, provided the calculation notes can be reviewed before work starts.
